Delete your account

You can delete your Believers Games account yourself, at any time. It is permanent, and it happens straight away.

From the app

  1. 1. Open Believers Games and sign in.
  2. 2. Go to Profile.
  3. 3. Tap Delete account.
  4. 4. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and enter your password.

A Games account is not your ShommyX account

Believers Games accounts are separate, with their own email and password. Deleting one here does not affect a ShommyX Church, Believers Dating or Believers Notes account, even where the email address is the same.

If you play signed in with a ShommyX account instead, delete that from its own settings — it covers all of those products at once.

What is erased

  • • Your account — email, display name and password.
  • • Your XP, level, streak and lifetime stats.
  • • Every game session you have played.
  • • Your progress through game stages.

You will be signed out immediately, and you cannot sign back in.

What remains, with your name removed

Some records involve other players, so deleting them outright would damage someone else's game. These stay, but they are no longer connected to you and no longer show your name:

  • • Challenges you sent or received.
  • • Rooms you hosted or joined, and their results.
  • • Custom games you created for a church.

A friend part-way through a challenge you sent will still be able to finish it. A church will not lose a game one of its members built.

If you have already uninstalled the app

Email support@believersgames.com from the address your account is registered to, and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it is you before we do anything, and email you when it is done.

Signing in and doing it yourself is faster — the app deletes immediately, where an emailed request has to wait for a person.
